I filled out the FAFSA as a contributor tonight and that shit is all done online now. Back in my day WE FILLED IT OUT BY HAND AND MAILED IT IN. I commented that to 17 and she said “Welcome to the new world”…biiiiiitch. Someone come get this kid there’s no room for being a smartass around these parts.

Some of the complaints that have come to my attention are:
“These apples are too big.” – 11A, in regard to Costco honey crisps
“Why are these apples so small?” – 11A, in regard to Costco gala or pink lady apples
“Why do we have to clean again?” – 11s
- bitches I literally watched y’all make this very mess
OK OK I won’t buy them anymore but damn you, just eat it! You’re going to forget you just ate in like 10 minutes when you are starving and dying from hunger.
Actual question – how late do you let these eating machines eat again after they’ve had their first dinner? I don’t want them up all night digesting food but I don’t need them starving I guess.
2 months into this weird experiment I’ve gotten to do a bunch of late band pick ups, start teaching17 how to drive, and downloading 1,000,000+ school apps and then immediately ignore them. Lots of paperwork but it’s manageable. I get asked how I’m doing all the time and honestly, I’m fine. I’m good. 100%. I probably would be better if people didn’t ask me so much but I appreciate it despite my outward churlishness. I don’t have any major stressors and these kids are pretty well behaved, I don’t have to manage their school work, transportation most days, or any behavioral stuff so that’s a blessing.
I started PTing the 11s when they half ass things, whine, fight, or are just generally messy. They have chores (daily sweeping/vacuuming the kitchen/dining room/living room and putting away dishes) but if they don’t get it done correctly, then hello PT. That’s backfiring though as all that does is make them stronger and more durable so I had to invent more things to clean.

It’s like a mini GORUCK here all the time. Burpees, mountain climbers, flutter kicks, front leaning rest, pushups. Introducing pull ups soon or at least, negatives. We’ve got myriad PT options and somehow, every day, we are black on PT, cadre.
